It looks like the music Paul McCartney composed for Destiny may be making a comeback in the expansion. The Final Shape for Destiny 2.
Ella Feingold, one of the orchestra members for the series, hinted at this on social networks. She posted a photo from the sound recording, where she mentioned McCartney (and his name can be seen on the music sheets).
It is assumed that in this case we are talking about the author’s old works for Destiny, since he is unlikely to have recorded any new compositions. On the originals, by the way, McCartney worked with a composer with Martin O’Donnell from Bungie.
Familiar music is expected to be featured in Destiny 2’s next major expansion, as it’s unlikely the creators would bring it back for smaller chunks of content.
The release of The Final Shape, which should complete the saga of confrontation between Light and Darkness, will be released in February 2024. At the same time, additional details will be revealed on August 22.
Recently, by the way, the players complained about the problems of the event “Solstice”.
