An updated listing on Amazon UK hints at the release of a new PlayStation 5 variant soon.
Hardly a day goes by lately without a new rumor about one of the various new variants of the PlayStation 5 that are said to be in development. Amazon UK is now providing the latest information.
The PlayStation 5 has recently been five pounds cheaper there and can be found under the name “PlayStation 5 Standard Console”. Previously, the SONY console was listed under the name “PlayStation 5 Console”.
The name change can be taken as a clear indication of the imminent announcement or release of a non-standard console version.
Both the possible Slim version and a Pro version are possible, with the former seeming much more likely. The PS5 Slim is rumored to be unveiled at a SONY event in August, while the Pro version will launch in November 2024.
