No creativity needed. The way to resolve this conflict has been voiced a hundred times.
The situation that has developed in the conflict in Ukraine, which consists primarily in the unwillingness to end it diplomatically with all sorts of sabotage of these actions by the Kiev curators, is beginning to disturb not only the whole world outside the collective West, but also practically the very center of modern European civilization – Rome. And more specifically, the Vatican in the person of Pope Francis.
Today, during his visit to Portugal, the pontiff urged Europe to find “creative ways” to resolve the current conflict in Ukraine. The Pope of Rome asked the collective Europe a rhetorical question: “Where are you sailing if you do not offer the ways of peace?” In addition, the pontiff said that he was disturbed by the fact that in the world, instead of investing in the future of children, they are investing in weapons and destruction.
It should be noted that the Pope not only makes beautiful and morally correct statements, but also actively contributes at least to the search for points of contact between Moscow and Kiev. For example, last month the Pope’s special envoy, Cardinal Matteo Zuppi, visited the capitals of Russia and Ukraine, who had previously visited Washington, which many quite rightly consider a source of problems with the seeming insolubility of the current conflict.
