Samsung promotes Golf Tournament with innovative technology at Dunas Comporta Golf Course

As part of the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5, the brand promoted a meeting that combined golf with technology and art at Dunas Terras da Comporta Golf Course, considered one of the best golf courses in Europe.

Samsung Golf Tournament at Dunas Comporta

The 1st Golf Tournament organized by Samsung, in partnership with Skip Golf, had the participation of 74 invited players and aimed to mark the launch of the new folding models – Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 – as well as the Tab S9 and the Watche6. The event took place over 18 holes in the Texas Scramble modality with teams of 4 players and lasted for more than 4 hours in an atmosphere of good humor and fair play.

Partnership between Samsung and Dunas Comporta

Dunas Comporta is the 1st golf course in Portugal to implement Samsung technology, which will allow it to offer a game concept that promises to revolutionize the service provided to the customer. The entire fleet of golf buggies at Terras da Comporta will be equipped with the latest GPS technology, using the new Samsung Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro tablet, which will provide better performance and connectivity directly at players’ fingertips. This will allow golfers to enjoy a variety of services on the course, including instant access to hole and shot distances, ordering food and drinks and communicating with the caddy master.

Integration with Samsung Health

The Watches Samsung Health supports over 100 fitness activities including golf. Therefore, all participants who played with a Galaxy Watch had the opportunity to check out, not only the entire holistic health aspect linked to Golf, directly integrated into Samsung Health, but also all the third-party applications that can be installed for control, registration and game monitoring.

Dinner and presentation of foldables

After the Tournament, the guests went to the Hotel Aqualuz Troia by The Editory for a dinner, followed by the presentation of the folding items and the awarding of prizes. During dinner, Samsung provided a unique experience with a fusion of technological innovation and the best design. The “jazz painter”, Xicofran, was the protagonist of this moment, having transmitted his art through the new Galaxy Z Fold5.
