Those of you who have read news related to Steam Deck are probably in awe. How come? Based on the database input that was successfully monitored by SteamDB, Valve is preparing something called a “Refurbished version of the Steam Deck”. Refurbished itself usually refers to products that have been withdrawn from the market due to certain problems, refined, and then resold at a more affordable price. Fulfilling these rumors and speculations, it didn’t take too long before Valve finally formalized the product lineup.
Valve has finally officially announced and sold this Refurbished version of the Steam Deck. In the name of maintaining the quality of existing performance, Valve said that each version of this Steam Deck has undergone more than 100 tests at one of Valve’s facilities, through the factory reset process, as well as software updates. Valve said that product “defects” that gamers find will usually revolve around the cosmetic side, such as scratches, for example on plastic parts. They ensure that there will be no problem with scratches on the sides as important as the screen. Each of these products will still receive an official 1 year warranty from Valve.
Valve officially offers a Refurbished version of the Steam Deck at a much cheaper price.
Despite mentioning that the stock itself will be very limited and in and out based on availability, Valve will still offer this refurbished version at a more affordable price. No kidding, the discount itself can reach around USD 120 or around 1.9 million Rupiah. The 64GB version drops from USD 400 to USD 320, the 256GB version drops from USD 520 to USD 420, and the 512GB version drops from USD 650 to only USD 520.
But unfortunately, as can be predicted, its availability remains limited to the region where the Steam Deck was launched officially, which again makes the Southeast Asian region including Indonesia not included in the official coverage area. What do you think? How interesting?
