Last Thursday (10), another new original miniseries on the platform landed on Netflix, called Império da Dor (Painkiller, in the original). Created by Micah Fitzerman-Blue and Noah Harpster, the 6-episode work adapts one of the biggest health crises in the history of the United States, linked to opioid addiction.
With Matthew Broderick, Uzo Aduba, Taylor Kitsch, Clark Gregg, West Duchovny, Dina Shihabi, John Rothman, Jack Mulhern, Ana Cruz Kayne, among other stars and stars, in its main cast, Empire of Pain not only explores a real situation, as well as being concerned with showing the origins and consequences of the sad historical chapter.
