News Baldur’s Gate 3 Adamantium Forge: What are the best weapons and armor to forge?

In Baldur’s Gate 3, you will come across a very special forge giving access to many quality items, but you won’t be able to get them all! So, in this article, we help you make a choice between all those available.
Before we look at the crafts themselves, let’s see how to get to the Adamantium forge on Baldur’s Gate 3. The first thing to do, it is to go to the depths and more precisely to the beach. There, take the boat and go to the new area.
Once there, move forward until you come across Skarjall the shepherd and his flock of Rothé. The latter seeks to destroy a scree using his beasts and asks for your help. You have a choice between beating the beasts, blasting the rocks with a bomb or to convince the Rothés to work by talking to them.
No matter which method you choose, once the passage is clear, Skarjall attacks you. Once the fight is won, you arrive in a new area. Proceed to a corridor full of traps. Halfway through it, take the iron ladder on your left.
There, place 3 characters on the moving platform and one on the lever. Activate both and jump with the three characters on the stone bridge at the far end. Go forward and once you reach the lever, return to your character left behind. Make him jump on the iron bridge this time and at the end, use the levers to make it move with the platform. Then continue to the forge.
PS: you also have the possibility of taking your whole group on the mobile platform and activating the levers remotely by shooting at them (but it’s less roleplaying, of course).
What are the best items to craft?
Once you are there, you will gain a teleport point which will make it easier for you to return directly to the place. The problem, is that there is currently only enough to craft two objects and you’re probably wondering which ones are worth the most. Once the Grym boss is beaten, you will finally have access to crafting!
Well, for us, the one you absolutely must craft is the adamantium Clibanion which is going to be amazing for any tanky melee character. Indeed, not only does it offer good resistances, but on top of that, it reduces the damage suffered and makes you immune to critical attacks! Finally, it allows the attacker to stagger in melee for 3 turns (a significant debuff).
The other craft that we will advise you, it’s the Adamantium Shield which will stagger an attacker missing their target for 3 turns, which can stun enemies in melee and on top of that, also makes you immune to critical attacks.
If you ever don’t play a shield, the alternative to the latter could be Adamantium Scale Armor, medium armor, which remains correct, although less interesting than heavy armor. For weapons, we advise you to pass your turn, you will find better during your adventure. It may even already be the case.
