The Xiaomi 14 range, including the Xiaomi 14 Ultra would be sold internationally, unlike the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 which is only available in China. The Ultra model was spotted in the IMEI database by a GSM association entry with two model numbers. Which implies that there would be a Chinese Xiaomi 14 Ultra and a global Xiaomi 14 Ultra. A global Xiaomi 14 Ultra spotted at the GSMA
The recently introduced Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, which is currently the second thinnest foldable on the market, after the Honor Magic V2 will be sold exclusively in China, according to Xiaomi’s communications director Daniel Desjarlais. However, the full range of the Xiaomi 14 could be sold internationally.
It would be made up of a Xiaomi 14, a 14 Pro, a 14 Pro+ and a Xiaomi 14 Ultra, according to leaker Kartikey Singh. The latter also announced on the social network X (formerly Twitter) that at least three of the four Xiaomi smartphones mentioned above will soon be presented in China.
First rumors about the Xiaomi 14 Ultra
We learned of this through an entry in the GSMA-IMEI database, which has now been shared by GSMChina. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra with model number 24030PN60G would be present in the global market, aiming to meet the needs of users around the world. And, the model number 24030PN60C would be dedicated to the Chinese version.
Note that the letters at the end indicate the region (G= Global / C= China) and the first four digits the launch date. Therefore, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra should be launched in March 2024, like its predecessor, with a slight delay compared to the other models in the range.
We still know very little about this photophone, whose code name is “Aurora”. But it is believed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Other rumors point to a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen and a quadruple Leica photo module. This would be equipped with three 50 MP lenses and one 200 MP lens.
