, AS WELL – The Marvel Cinematic Universe has released their new series entitled Secret Invasion. Secret Invasion tells about the invasion of Alien Skrulls to earth to make earth their new home. It’s a shame that the MCU wasn’t very successful in adapting one of the biggest events in Marvel Comics history.
Secret Invasion Becomes MCU’s Worst Series?
The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe series that airs on Disney+ has received a lot of criticism. Starting from the use of AI for opening credits to a very bad storyline that made the director of Secret Invasion, Ali Selim, not get death threats. Secret Invasion’s story focuses on Nick Fury’s efforts to prevent an invasion by alien Skrulls secretly.
Secret Invasion is one of the MCU series with the lowest viewership on Disney+. This is shown by the Runtime which is very little to break the record as the shortest runtime.
According to a report from Screenrant, the total duration of Secret Invasion is only around 3 hours 43 minutes 30 seconds if counted without credits and recaps. Making the Secret Invasion series the shortest series from the MCU so far. Secret Invasion is even under She-Hulk, which has a longer duration of 10 minutes and 10 seconds than Secret Invasion. This makes it clear that in fact this series can only be used as a movie with a better story presentation.

Getting Lots of Complaints
Secret Invasion received a lot of complaints since its premiere. The series started with longer episodes but as time went on, it ended up reducing its run even more. The story seems to be pacing and full of obscurity, making this series fail to arouse the emotions of the audience. To make matters worse, this series was closed with an episode showing the battle between G’iah and Gravik with poor CGI quality.
Many argue that Secret Invasion’s story is more suitable to be made into a movie than a series. This also makes the story in the film much closer to the comic version. Because Secret Invasion is not part of the Avengers, this series does not involve the Avengers members at all. This is also one of the biggest complaints of fans especially those who have read the comics.
