Elegance with an AMOLED screen
The Amazfit GTR 2 may be an affordable smartwatch, but its design hasn’t been overlooked. We will thus be entitled to an elegant and rounded design, with a resistant aluminum frame that surrounds the slab. On this frame, you will also find two physical buttons on the side (including one equipped with a rotating crown to easily navigate the menus) which will be used to execute commands that do not require the use of touch.
Speaking of touch, the screen of the GTR 2 incorporates a beautiful 1.39 inch AMOLED panel, with a definition of 454 x 454 pixels (326 pixels per inch), which is more than enough to make the information displayed readable. The watch is also certified 5 ATM, which means that it can survive up to 50 meters deep.
Effective monitoring of health and sport
The Amazfit GTR 2 is a really complete watch, since it offers effective sports and health monitoring. First, helped by its sensors, it will be able to monitor the quality of sleep, the level of stress, but also to measure the heart rate (with the optical sensor BioTrackerTM 2 PPG) as well as blood oxygenation (SPO2) . You will find some data directly displayed on the screen of the watch, but you will then have to go through the dedicated application (available on iOS and Android) for further analysis.
Regarding sport, the GTR 2 recognizes a large number of sports activities, such as outdoor running, treadmill, walking, cycling or swimming. The watch can then produce a report analyzing your performance, which can be viewed on the app.
