We received one of lime and another of sand with PlayStation Plus. At the same time that Sony has announced which games will be free with the subscription service in September, it has also announced that a price increase is just around the corner. Specifically on September 6th.
It will be from that date on that getting a 12-year PlayStation Plus subscription will be more expensive than ever and it is a modification that affects all countries. The Japanese company’s justification for this move is that they will be able to “continue to offer high-quality games and value-added benefits.” Be that as it may, this is how the new prices look:
12 months of PlayStation Plus Essential: pasa de 59,99 euros a 71,99 euros. 12 months of PlayStation Plus Extra: go from 99,99 euros a 125,99 euros. 12 months of PlayStation Plus Premium: upgrade 119,99 euros a 151,99 euros.
This cost will still be cheaper than making individual purchases in monthly or quarterly formats, but the truth is that the increase is really considerable. Current annual subscribers will not be affected by the price change until the next renewal, as long as it occurs on September 6 or at a later date.
On the other hand, if we make any changes to the PlayStation Plus subscription after September 6, the plan will be updated with the new prices.
