“Survivalist” Sons of the Forest received its tenth patch, which added fresh gameplay features and fixed various bugs.
The authors included a new video tutorial and reworked one of the cutscenes in the “golden” room. Additionally, players will now be able to build a stone floor or use a large log holder. Also included in the construction catalog were corner ramps and roof corners, as well as railings.
At the same time, the creators have improved the behavior of the AI - enemy attacks will be more varied, and cannibals will now be able to choose their leader and use torches at night. A new type of enemy has also appeared that sets themselves on fire and rushes at the player.
In multiplayer, game organizers now have the ability to block cheats, and the developers have also included a new subtitle system.
The patch also brought numerous technical fixes, affecting gameplay and audio elements. You can learn more about the changes on the game page in Steam.
Sons of the Forest, by the way, ranks third among the most popular games this year on Steam – although Starfield may soon overtake it.
