After making changes to several cinematic releases, Marvel Studios’ series have become the latest victims of the ongoing crisis in Hollywood: Daredevil: Born Again, What If…? and others have been postponed.
The only survivor in the Mouse calendar may be “Loki”: the second season of the series starring Tom Hiddleston has kept its premiere date for October 6. However, other series premiering this year, as well as those slated for release in 2024, are now in jeopardy due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes and the AMPTP’s failure to reach an agreement with them.
Deadline reports that Agatha: The Darkhold Diaries, which was supposed to premiere in winter 2023, will now not release until fall 2024, ahead of Halloween, despite filming wrapping earlier this year.
New dates for Marvel TV projects:
• “Echo” – January 2024 (previously November 29, 2023).
• “X-Men ’97” – early 2024 (previously fall 2023).
• “Daredevil: Born Again” – unknown (earlier spring 2024).
• “Iron Heart” – unknown (previously autumn 2023).
