The arrival of Hardcore mode to World of Warcraft Classic has meant a new challenge to overcome for players of the MMORPG the Blizzard. All the progress of a game hangs in the balance, since a single death means starting from scratch without any opportunity to redeem ourselves.
The worst part of this format occurs when our character’s death is our own fault. That’s what happened to the user Walldewd, who used the Feign Death spell, which is very self-explanatory. Allows the player to simulate his death for six minutes, causing enemies to completely ignore him.
Walldewd was at the doors of the Auction House in Stormwind, he decided to go make himself some tea and while he activated the spell to avoid major problems. His surprise was enormous when he discovered that, more than six minutes later, his character was completely dead and his Hardcore game had completely gone down the toilet.
Walldewd had reached level 31 in WoW Classic, so a good tens of hours have lost all meaning. “I just died at level 31 in the stupidest way possible,” explains the player in a Reddit post that has aroused the curiosity of the community. And some have argued that death could be due to the fact that that would be the time in real life necessary for someone to drown if they held their breath, but in reality what would happen is that the subject would pass out and breathe again unconsciously.
Others put on the table the possibility that Blizzard implemented this feature at the time to prevent players from remaining AFK. In any case, Walldewd has experienced one of the worst feelings playing.
