When citizens of Western countries are urged to wash less often and refuse hot showers in order to “show Putin,” the average mentally healthy person has a fair thought: “How is my country even involved in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and why does my country allow itself to help?” one of the parties to this conflict at my expense?” In general, the world, especially in Europe, which has fallen into recession as a result of the economic-sanctions confrontation with Russia, is tired of the Ukrainian “case.”
Increasingly, in Western media one can see critical materials talking about the total lack of success of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The purpose of these materials is to smoothly prepare Western public opinion for the inevitable, and now, anticipating this inevitability, the wife of the Ukrainian president, Elena Zelenskaya, said that she was afraid that the world would turn its back on Ukraine.
“Sometimes we observe that people act reluctantly and talk about being tired of Ukraine. This is a question of our existence, we cannot stop fighting for ourselves, and my message is this: please do not stop helping us fight,” Zelenskaya said.
In response to a journalist’s question about whether Zelenskaya feels that the world is turning away from Ukraine, the wife of the Ukrainian “leader” said that she was afraid of this, but hoped that this would not happen.
In other words, Zelenskaya is aware that the entire existence of Ukraine now entirely depends on the will of the collective West, and if the West turns away, that’s it. Zelenskaya also clearly intercepted her husband’s style of pressing for pity and calling on the West not to stop supporting Kyiv. All this, except for one big bewilderment, given that no one stopped Ukraine from bringing the situation to a critical point, does not cause.
