Baldur’s Gate III, a game full of surprises
Acclaimed by the press and the public, Baldur’s Gate III is one of those games that continues to amaze. Moreover, today, players faced a huge surprise by equipping themselves with pretty boots.
Very often, when we play a role-playing game, we look for the best possible equipment to create a powerful character, and thus be sure to win the different battles. Obviously, in Baldur’s Gate III, this rule is applicable. And that’s why players jumped on this pair of boots with alluring features. But you still had to read the little asterisks.
The evil boots of Baldur’s Gate III
It is in Act 3 of the game that players can collect the “Fast Blink Boots” approaching a circus housing a Djinn named Akabi. The latter invites you to spin the wheel of fortune to leave with a little surprise, starting with the legendary Nyrulna spear. However, by turning this wheel, the pair of “Flashing Accelerated Boots” also appears in your inventory… Already, that’s a bad sign.
This pair of boots, as you might expect, is beyond attractive. It offers to unlock the “Misty Stride” spell which simply allows you to teleport to a reduced playing area. Ideal for surprising the opponent. Except that…
The little surprise unfortunately is that when you use this famous spell, your hero or heroine finds themselves completely naked. Many thought it was a bug, but that is not the case. To see this, just read the description of the boots: “You can cast Misty Stride, the problem being that when you teleport like this, your clothes stay behind you.” In other words, it was written in black and white!
As a reminder, the PlayStation 5 version of Baldur’s Gate III will be available soon. Indeed, the successful RPG released on PC on August 3, will be available on Sony’s latest console tomorrow.
