John Furythe father of WBC heavyweight belt holder Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KO), said he would like to fight heavyweight legend Mike Tyson on the undercard of his son’s fight against Francis Ngannou (17-3).
Note that “Iron Mike” is preparing Ngannou for the fight with Fury.
“Why wouldn’t I talk to Mike Tyson? I love this guy, I named my son after him.
If he wants to fight me on the undercard, that can be arranged, no problem. I’m a fighter, I’m old, but I’m a fighter. He is a fighter. He is old. If he wants to fight me and I want to fight him, and I want to and have made that clear, we can do it. I’ve been knocked out before, it makes no difference to me, if we can entertain the crowd and put smiles on their faces, I’ll be fine with that,” John Fury said.
The 10-round fight between Tyson Fury and former UFC champion Francis Ngannou will take place on October 28 in Saudi Arabia.
