Micro-Star International reported on solving the blue screen problem on computers with motherboards based on Intel 600-/700-series chipsets. It turned out that the cause was an error in the settings of the Intel hybrid architecture. At the same time, the BSOD with the “UNSUPPORTED_PROCESSOR” error was typical only for systems based on 13th generation Intel Core i9 chips running certain versions of Windows 10 and 11.
To fix the above issue, owners of MSI LGA1700 motherboards should update the UEFI firmware. The latest versions for boards with top Intel Z690 and Z790 logic are already available on the company’s official website. In the near future, the vendor will publish firmware for all other LGA1700 models.
