Little by little, the full squad of certain clubs reveals their grades: recently, it was the turn of players from PSG and OM. Too bad for Ligue 1, it no longer looks the same without Messi and Neymar!
Adjusted ratings in EA Sports FC 24 which are already being debated
In just over three weeks, American publisher Electronic Arts is launching its first solo foray into the world of football. Freed from the constraints of the international football federation, EA Sports FC 24 begins a transition into the era of video game football. However, there are things that don’t change. A few days before the launch, while the major European competitions and championships launch their 23-24 seasons, we have our eyes fixed on a crucial detail: the player ratings. Now that the summer transfer window has closed its doors for a large majority of clubs, It’s time to update teams and offer brand new statistics (good or bad) to all listed footballers.
Already, the first information is coming out, and it is not necessarily joyful depending on the situation. So much so that some Internet users immediately shout “ to lack of respect towards certain soccer stars. After Electronic Arts’ communication on the different aspects of the football game, the first feedback from the beta reaches us and gives us an idea of the performance of certain players and clubs. In this case, on the French side, things are a bit gloomy if we rely on recent data relayed on social networks: an overview, to be confirmed, of the ratings of PSG and OM players has just been released, and Ligue 1 talents are clearly in the shadow of the European leaders.
A Ligue 1 still at the top? Here’s where to draw to get the best players on your team
For a few days now, we have been able to discover the statistics of PSG and OM players: the opportunity to notice, with the departures of Messi and Neymar, that only Kylian Mbappé rises above the 90 mark (91). For the rest of the team, we are mainly between 80 and 90. The problem is that this is not enough to allow Ligue 1 to shine at European level. By doing the calculations, we only find six Ligue 1 players in the top 100 of EA Sports FC 24 : Mbappé (91), Marquinhos (87), Donnarumma (87), Dembelé (86), Navas (86) and Verratti (86), even if the last two notes remain to be definitively confirmed. On the OM side, we are unable to increase the presence of Ligue 1 in the top 100 since no player appears there. As recent information shows, the maximum score is 81, a few points from the top of the ranking.
Still happy, however, that female players have been more included in this new version of the football game since it is almost possible to double this presence thanks to them. In this case, we count five representatives of Olympique Lyonnais (OL) in the top 50 best players : Ada Hegerberg (89), Kadidiatou Diani (89), Wendi Renard (88), Christiane Endler (88), Marie-Antoinette Katoto (88). In any case, it is rather towards the Spanish championship (men’s and women’s) that we will have to turn since La Liga will be full of gems in EA Sports FC 24. If we go back and look at the rankings mentioned above, in particular the top 50 best players, we notice that many world-class players play there. In total, no less than 15 athletes out of the 50 who are involved in La Liga.
