The Summer Game Fest will also be held next year. Organizer Geoff Keighley confirmed this on Twitter.
Given the ever-increasing popularity, it’s hardly surprising: Geoff Keighley is also hosting his annual Summer Game Fest in 2024. He hasn’t revealed any exact information about this yet, but the first details will follow in the coming months.
Back in LA
At least the venue, Los Angeles, has already been decided. The gaming event took place in the US metropolis this year. It is still unclear whether the show will be held again in the YouTube Theater or somewhere else.
Presumably it will Diversity criticism at the last event will have an impact on next year. Some audience members criticized the fact that there were no women on stage. Keighley later commented on this and said he was aware of this. In any case, this shouldn’t matter to most gamers as long as great games are presented.
You can watch the most important presentations from this year’s Summer Game Fest here. Highlights were the announcement of “Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown”, the gameplay of “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth” and information about “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2”.
