On Friday, 8 September, the semi-final match of the European Youth Futsal Championship will take place, in which the Ukrainian U-19 team will meet with Spain. The match will take place in Porec (Croatia) at the Žatika Arena, the game will start at 21:30 Kyiv time.
Having started with a defeat in the match against Italy (1:2), the “blue-yellows” beat Slovenia (4:2) and Finland (7:4). Thanks to the Slovenes’ victory over the Italians, our team took first place in Group B. The Spaniards first lost to Portugal with a score of 3:5, and then drew with the Croats – 3:3 (although they won with a score of 3:0 during the meeting). To reach the semi-finals, the Spaniards had to beat France, and they did it – 5:2. The Spanish U-19 team has won the previous two European Youth Championships.
