Batman is one of the most iconic superheroes of all time. The character has been popular for over 80 years thanks to his incredible comics, TV shows (both live-action and animated), movies and, of course, games. Batman spawned other characters who became heroes in their own right, such as the Joker, Robin and many others. After the incredible success of the Batman Arkham series, WB decided to see if the Batman family of superheroes could become their own game.
Thus, the co-op game Gotham Knights was born. Unfortunately, the game received mixed reception and did not appear to sell very well. Many believed that this meant the game would be abandoned, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Apparently, Gotham Knights will soon return to the Nintendo Switch – the ESRB and the Singapore rating board have assigned an age rating to Gotham Knights for the Nintendo Switch. These are new estimates from two different sources, suggesting that this version actually exists.
It’s also worth noting that games are usually rated at the end of their development. If the rating appears now, it means the game could be released very soon, perhaps around the game’s first anniversary in October. There have been rumors about a new Nintendo Direct lately, so this could be something that will be announced for this platform.
