The creators of STALKER 2 suffer a fire in their Prague offices and a third of them burn down, although the studio insists it has seen worse. However, it would be great if the universe didn’t tickle them anymore.
STALKER 2 continues its development for Xbox Series PC and Steam Deck, but flogged again. If long ago they avoided the war between Ukraine y Russia when moving to Praguenow it turns out that a fire has burned 1/3 of these.
As reported by the Czech media Vortex and PC Gamer, on September 7 GSC Game World had this disaster. Despite this, employees affirm that there are no injuries despite the seriousness of the matter.
Of course, they confirm that one of the three plants used by the developer has suffered serious damage and requires a “complete restoration.”
The Czech media reports that the other two plants used by GSC Game World have not suffered damage from the fire, but that the damaged plant would be where the studio kept the backup servers.
A representative of the developer confirmed that the fire had occurred and also stated that the incident was already being investigated.
