From October 12 to Netflix there will be a new mini-series by writer and director Mike Flanagan, who became famous for horror films “Oculus», «Game Geralda” and “Doctor Sleep“, as well as mini-series “The Haunting of Hill House” and “The Haunting of Bly Manor».
Flanagan’s new project is the mini-series “Fall of the House of Usher“, named after Edgar Allan Poe’s story about the fate of the last representatives of the ancient dynasty. But the script for the new horror film was also based on other works by the master of psychological prose.
The plot will center on Roderick and Madeline Usher, twins and co-founders of the thriving company Fortunato Pharmaceuticals. They and Roderick’s six heirs will have to face the mysterious Verna, who has long-standing scores to settle with the owners of the Usher fortune.
The main roles in the series were played by Bruce Greenwood, Mary McDonnell and Carla Gugino. We will also see Mark Hamill in it, who will play the lawyer of the Usher family.
