Although the strike of actors and screenwriters is causing unforeseen changes in the most anticipated films of the coming months and years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe In less than a month, it will welcome the new show that hopes to be one of the company’s great jewels in 2023: the second season of Loki.
The exclusive Disney+ series will add several highly respected actors to its cast, but someone has stood out above the rest: Ke Huy Quan. The Vietnamese-American actor returned to the Hollywood orbit with the acclaimed Everything at Once Everywhere and will now join the MCU alongside the God of Lies and Mobius. Through a preview offered by Entertainment Weekly, we have been able to see a new image of Quan in the series that has automatically teleported us to the 80s.
As you can see in the image, we see how the Vietnamese-American actor gets hands on with an unknown artifact. Aside from the mystery surrounding the photo, this frame reminds us of another character who appeared in one of the best films of the 80s: Los Goonies.
For those who don’t know, Ke Huy Quan played Data, the brainiac of the group and in charge of creating different artifacts that helped his group of friends. Disney wanted to fondly remember this actor’s past with a role that will be similar, since he will play the intrepid OB, a handyman and assistant to the space-time agents. Loki season 2 will arrive exclusively on Disney+ next October 6, 2023.
