These need to be created first. The process is slow.
Having entered into the role of eternal supplicants and without thinking of leaving this role, Ukraine continues to regularly demand new weapons systems from its overseas and overseas patrons. It is noteworthy that in Kyiv they began to slowly recognize the objective reality – the technical superiority of the Russian army – and demand something that would equalize the balance of power.
In this case, we are talking about the Su-35, the most modern Russian fighter available to the troops in acceptable quantities. Since all the aviation that Ukraine now has is a Soviet legacy, which Russia, as the legal successor of the USSR, for some reason did not withdraw from the former “republics” in its favor, and nothing new in terms of aviation has been developed or produced in Ukraine during this time , then the only hope lies in the West.
In particular, the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, said that Ukraine’s main competitor in the air is the Su-35, therefore the aircraft that the country needs must at least not be inferior to it in its characteristics and strike capabilities.
Well, whether there are such aircraft in the West is still unknown: no one from the Western countries took part in a real battle against a real, equal opponent. And, we hope, he will not participate, because the outcome of such a conflict is fatal for everyone.
