Princess Peach Showtime! is the new exclusive for Nintendo Switch, which we saw for the first time in June, and whose release date has already been confirmed (for 2024, yes).
Who said Princess Peach isn’t ready for her own adventure? After many years in the shadow of Mario, Luigi or even Toad, we will finally have a game starring the princess alone. We saw it in depth in today’s Nintendo Direct.
To tell the truth, we already saw some images a few months ago, but not even the title of this game was confirmed. Finally, we can say that Princess Peach Showtime! has already been presented all the way.
Of course, don’t expect to see it this year, because it is one of the last exclusives that Nintendo Switch will have. Its launch will take place in the spring 2024.

What we’ve seen of Princess Peach Showtime looks very, very good. Of course, it is a 2D platform game with three-dimensional graphics, where our beloved princess is the main protagonist of the adventure.
Our mission is to rescue works of art that have been stolen by the Malauva Company. Thus, we will travel to iconic places such as Paris, London or Egyptas well as theaters and museums.
Each level or phase is represented as a play, with decorations, lights, shadows and some surprises. Of course, the characteristic collectibles in the Mario universe will also return.
Peach not only inherits Mario’s abilities (jumping, gliding with the dress or running), but can take on other forms thanks to power-ups.
In the trailer we have seen a Peach with sword (in true Three Musketeers style), as well as a Peach explorer or one Peach detectivealthough these are just a few of the many skills available.
Everything indicates that it is one of the latest Nintendo Switch exclusivesas it will arrive in spring of next year.
Princess Peach Showtime! is in development for Nintendo Switch, and its release date has been confirmed in the Nintendo Direct. It will be the March 22, 2024 when it reaches the hybrid console, who knows if it will close the exciting story of the hybrid console.
