Al Nintendo Direct of 14 September 2023 there was also space for the announcement of Unicorn Overlorda brand new tactical RPG produced by Atlus and developed by Vanillawarea software house already known for works such as 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim, Odin Sphere e Dragon’s Crown.
The presentation trailer confirmed to us that Unicorn Overlord will be available worldwide starting fromMarch 8, 2024but the game will not only arrive on Nintendo Switch: the authors have in fact confirmed its arrival on Nintendo Switch too PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 e Xbox Series X/S always on the same date. The arrival on current generation Microsoft platforms also represents a novelty for Vanillaware: and the first time ever that one of their products is also published on a console Xbox.
Apart from that, Unicorn Overlord presents itself as a rather engaging tactical RPG with splendid graphics, as well as a focus on narrative in a medieval fantasy context. The work Vanillaware also makes available to us 60 different characters, as well as also offering multiplayer. After the critical and public acclaim received with 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim in 2019, Vanillaware is preparing to return to the scene next March with another product to keep an eye on, ready to give satisfaction to fans of tactical role-playing games.
