The design and battery of the Samsung Galaxy A05s have been revealed in a leak. Its battery capacity would have been reduced comparable to the Galaxy A04s. This entry-level smartphone could be launched in the coming weeks. Discover its technical sheet.

In photos shared (via MySmartPrice), the Galaxy A05s features almost the same design as more expensive Galaxy smartphones such as the Galaxy A25 and Galaxy A34 (test). This is visible on the triple photo module. The back of the smartphone appears to be made of polycarbonate with striped patterns.
In addition, the borders of the Galaxy A05s would be more rounded. Ports including the 3.5mm audio jack and USB-C connector would be placed at the bottom while a set of keys would be found on either side.
The front of the smartphone would be equipped with a V-shaped notch that would house a selfie lens with an unknown resolution.

Samsung Galaxy A05s: The technical sheet
Last year’s Galaxy A04s was updated with a 50-megapixel primary lens paired with 2-megapixel depth and macro sensors, similar to those on the Galaxy A14 5G ( review ). It is therefore possible that this configuration will remain unchanged on the Galaxy A05s.

The capacity of the Galaxy A05s would be surprisingly reduced, going from 5000 mAh to 4000 mAh. On the other hand, the charging speed would be improved and would increase to 25 watts. Samsung could compensate for the small battery capacity with a more efficient SoC and an optimized operating system. It should run Android 13 OS with One UI 5.
Furthermore, the future smartphone should have a slightly larger screen, 6.6 inches wide, compared to 6.5 inches in HD resolution for last year’s Galaxy A04s. At the same time, the dimensions are confirmed to be 167.9×77.7×8.8mm, which is slightly thinner than its predecessor, the Galaxy A04s.
Samsung Galaxy A05s: Release date and price
The Galaxy A05s could launch this month. We don’t yet know if the smartphone will be available in all regions, knowing that its predecessor was not available in other regions like the United States. The Galaxy A05s could, moreover, be an update of the Galaxy A03s, launched in Uncle Sam’s country at the end of 2021.
