Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp shared his impressions of the match of the 5th round of the Premier League with Wolverhampton (3:1), in which his players had to win back.
“We have to play better than in the first half. In the second half the game got better. In the first one we had problems with physics and sharpness.
We’ve been trying to figure out who’s ready [после матчей сборных], in the end our choice was not entirely ideal. The best news [после первого тайма] was that it was all over. I thought that we couldn’t play any worse. Therefore, in the second half they changed almost everything – both tactically and physically.
In the second half we completely controlled the game. In the end, we deserved to win, that’s obvious. We equalized the score, continued to control the game, tried hard and still won, which is important for us. The quality of the bench helps a lot. I’m happy with the squad we have, but we have to play better in the first half overall. But we are not completely stable yet, so this is not possible. There are too many new things,” Klopp said.
