Who are the strongest fighters in Mortal Kombat 1?
Based on what we have been able to ascertain, both firsthand and by reading the opinions of other players online, at the moment the strongest fighters in Mortal Kombat 1 seem to be Liu Kang, Kenshi, Sub-Zero and Johnny Cage.
Liu Kang is a character quite easy to learn, plus in Mortal Kombat 1 he has extended his move set thanks to the new fire powers, which among other things allow him to hit from a distance with flaming projectiles. Kenshi and his ghost are certainly less immediate to use, but once you have mastered them you will be able to corner any opponent. Sub-Zero, for his part, can turn opponents into icicles, is very agile and has abilities combo extenders that can launch opponents from one side of the screen to the other. Johnny Cage, on the other hand, in addition to being a very versatile fighter, can also boast the new Hype mode: by exhibiting over the top poses and provocations during the battle, the Hollywood star can fill a Star-shaped indicator until his special moves are canceled out with other special ones, thus allowing him to string together more than one in a row.
We are well aware that electing the strongest characters of all is objectively impossible, since a lot also depends on the playing style and personal affinities.
