Two years ago, September 15, 2021, Polish studio Mechanistry released the post-apocalyptic strategy Timberborn into early access. And now we have shown a special trailer dedicated to all the improvements that have been made to the game during this time.
According to the developers, the studio’s debut game has already been bought by more than a million players. Timberborn is available in Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store and store Humbleand the game receives 95% positive reviews on Steam.
During the time spent in early access, the game has improved significantly. The developers added terraformint and robotic beavers, many unique tasks, new trees and crops. A number of production chains have been completely changed, areas have become unlimited, frame rates have increased by 80%, and the data storage system has been completely replaced. Some of the innovations are shown in the new trailer.
In the world of the beaver-building simulator Timberborn, humanity disappeared a long time ago, and the burden of recreating civilization falls on the shoulders of beavers. Players will have to choose one of the beaver factions, differing in buildings, style and gameplay, and try to build a prosperous colony.
