Even though Super Mario Bros. Wonder comes out at the end of October, and Nintendo is set to release another major game, Detective Pikachu Returns, at the beginning of the month. In this game, Tim Goodman and Detective Pikachu will search for Harry Goodman. A new trailer has surfaced that, while it doesn’t give much information, confirms Luxray’s appearance.
Luxray is an Electric-type Pokémon, but in Detective Pikachu Returns it can penetrate walls (which should help with finding items). It can also be ridden, much like Growlithe, which has previously demonstrated the ability to pick up scents. There is also Darmanitan, which can destroy walls and obstacles. You can see them in action here.
Other Pokemon abilities have yet to be revealed, so stay tuned for details and possible gameplay in the coming weeks. Detective Pikachu Returns releases on Nintendo Switch on October 6th.
