Frontier Developments released a new trailer for real-time strategy game Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin today, revealing the wide range of features coming when it launches on November 17th.
Realms of Ruin allows players to personalize their gaming experience. By using map editor players will be able to use tools similar to the developers to create multiplayer maps for the game, creating their own battlefields in the wild Kingdom of Gur. From painting and shaping the terrain to placing props, foliage, water and game objects, players will be able to create their ideal battlefields and then enjoy them in individual online multiplayer matches. They will also be able to share their creations through a cross-platform in-game workshop where the community can download, play and rate their maps.
In the same time Army paint allows players to customize the color palettes used when playing each of the four factions in the game, using paints from Games Workshop’s Citadel collection. In addition to player-created palettes, the game will feature official Games Workshop paint schemes. Players can create palettes for entire factions or even create color schemes for individual units.
By using Scene editor Players can create stunning dioramas and share them with the community, depicting characters in carefully curated and shareable images of the Battle of Gur. Customize individual animation frames to ensure every detail is perfect, and display personalized army paint units to give them even more personality. Players can customize the visual settings to their liking, then create the perfect image to share with the world.
The map editor, army skins and scene editor are available in all versions and platforms of the game. Players can create maps using a mouse and keyboard or a controller.
Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin will be released on November 17 for PC on Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
