It’s almost time for the launch of Party Animals on PC and Xbox Game Pass. The sparkling party game from Source Technology and Recreate Games is positively received in the first international reviews that precede its arrival on Steam, Microsoft Store and in the catalog of the Verdecrociato subscription service.
Taking inspiration from the analyzes of the major sector portals, on aggregators such as Metacritic and OpenCritic the new interactive experience in the footsteps of Gang Beasts, Fall Guys and Human Fall Flat boasts an average rating respectively of 76 and 78 out of 100extrapolated from a total of eleven reviews.
Among the numerous strong points cited by reviewers, the work carried out by the Recreate Games team on the characterization of the characters and settings is highlighted, as well as on the quality of the challenges to be completed in multiplayer and on the physics engine responsible for managing pushes, jumps and a rich array of funny animations.
On the other hand, critical issues emerge from the first analyzes of Party Animals control system, considered not very accessible, and in the limited variety of scenarios; two aspects on which the developers will be called to intervene after the launch, with support which, as in the aforementioned cases of Fall Guys and Human Fall Flat, will be the real test for this ‘animal-themed party game’.
