Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has made his return to the WWEafter quitting in October 2019. The wrestler, and now actor, is in fact returned to the match, taking the fans by surprise and ruining the party for poor Austin Theory, who did little against the athlete. On the same evening, Dwayne also had a pleasant meeting with John Cena, another wrestler who has launched himself into the world of cinema and TV series for years now. “Welcome home!” said the WWE star. At the moment The Rock’s plans are unclear, but according to various rumors the actor is planning a grand return to the Ring.
It would indeed seem that Dwayne Johnson plans to face none other than Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, says the Komoi website. Komoi also states that, although The Rock intended to challenge Reigns at Wrestlemania 39, this fight was canceled and everything would be postponed to Wrestlemania 40.
“Honestly brother, it’s not the injury that worries me because it’s part of the game. You get hurt, we all get hurt. That’s how it works. It’s not even planning because I can control it, more or less. Coming back to WWE and having a match is always about what we can create that hasn’t already been offered to the fans,” Dwayne said in a statement, Komoi reports.
