One of the main composers for the Xenoblade Chronicles OST has talked about “starting from scratch” through a rather special statement.

Every time I worked at the music from the Xenoblade Chronicles saga, I was constantly searching and extracting new sources of creativity from within me. To make sure my music wasn’t overshadowed by the world, I wanted it to have an unprecedented shine.
Although it was difficult for me, I took on the challenges with all my might and reached the end. Like an RPG, the Xenoblade Chronicles franchise has helped me grow immensely.
Looking back on the three games, I feel like time has flowed. However, participating in a saga loved by so many around the world and overcoming many obstacles have become a precious treasure for me as a composer.
I also treasure the many thoughts and feelings I receive from fans about my music. These treasures are an important driving force that helps me face the next challenge.
To be honest, after exhausting all my energy working on Xenoblade Chronicles 3, I feel a little weak. But I think that sharing my OST with everyone will become another source of inspiration
Now that the saga has reached a point of closure, it’s time to start from scratch! I wonder what kind of source for my creativity I will find in the future. I hope everyone is looking forward to it.
