On Sunday, September 17, exactly 10 years have passed since the release of Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game is still alive and continues to be published on new and new generations of gaming platforms.
In particular, in November 2014, GTA 5 was released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, and in April 2015 on PCs with the Windows operating system. And in March 2022, Grand Theft Auto V was re-released for the modern generation of consoles – PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
And it’s sold 185 million copies and generated over $8billion in net revenue (not gross revenue) for Take Two.

Over the entire period, publisher Take Two has sold more than 185 million copies of Grand Theft Auto V, of which it managed to generate more than $8 billion in net income. The online component, called GTA Online, has a lot to do with the long life and profitability of the fifth game in the series.
Just in honor of the 10th anniversary of the series, Rockstar Games has announced new content for GTA Online. These are three costumes inspired by the main characters from GTAV, missions, weapons and the Bravado Hotring car.
