Do you want to make better quality mods for your weapons and armor or build stronger structures in Starfield, but you are short on titanium? To help you find this resource, we have put together a guide which lists all the best planets to obtain it.
Where to find titanium on Starfield?
On Starfield, titanium (Ti) is a superior resource, as it is level 2. Unlike lead, iron, nickel or even uranium, you will only be able to find it on a few planets. However, there are certain planets that are full of this resource. So, find below our list of planets which benefit from a profusion of titanium.
Titan of the Sol systemPluton of the Sol systemVega II-b of the Vega systemHello of the Cheyenne systemFreya VII-a of the Freya systemVerne II of the Verne systemNewton Vb of the Newton system
There are many other planets that have titanium. To find them, all you have to do is navigate from planet to planet then launch a scan from your ship. You will thus be able to know the elements available on the planets without having to go exploring. Note that titanium requires rank 2 of the scanning skill to detect it.
Otherwise, if you want to harvest titanium in large quantities, you will have to invest in the skill “Planetary habitat”, because the planets that host this resource are mainly cold, extremely cold. Without this skill, you will not be able to create an outpost to mine titanium. Also think about the skill “Environmental conditioning”, as well as a suit made to resist the freezing cold of these planets. Otherwise, it will be difficult to move around the outpost without suffering a status effect linked to the cold.
Farm or buy titanium?
Luckily, not all planets that have titanium have such harsh temperatures. Indeed, Vega II-b or Verne II do not have extreme temperatureso if you don’t yet have the skill to build outposts on planets with extreme temperatures, you can still collect them.
However, if resource farming is not your favorite activity on Starfield, you can very well buy it. Jemison Mercantile in New Atlantis and the UC Exchange in Cydonia will allow you to obtain them. However, they are not the only ones to sell them, because the merchant in the Neon Mine will also be able to provide you with them.
Titanium can be bought for 12 creditstherefore a relatively trivial price to advance in research for outposts, weapon mods or combinations.
And finally, titanium is an ore that can be found from time to time in enemy outposts, in chests or even on the remains of certain robots or humanoid opponents. It’s very risky, but it’s a totally possible collection alternative.
