It has been announced that a new update for the asymmetrical multiplayer title “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” will be released this week. The official changelog reveals which improvements are offered.
In a statement, those responsible for Sumo Nottingham and Gun Interactive indicated that the horror multiplayer title “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” will receive a new update this week.
According to the current state of affairs, the update is scheduled to be released tomorrow, Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Provided that the patch goes through the certification process without any problems.
According to the official changelog, the new update fixes, among other things, the bug that allowed players to block themselves and cause problems in the matchmaking system of “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”.
In addition, the fuse box no longer appears next to the slaughterhouse door, but instead spawns on the side of the shed as intended.
Perk adjustments and more
Another change is to multiplayer lobbies, where the 7-player start requirement has been reintroduced. The new update of “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” is rounded off by various adjustments to the perks, which are intended to ensure improved balancing and fair competition. The crossplay function between the consoles and the PC, which was removed from the game by the developers a few days ago, remains deactivated for now. According to official information, adjustments and enhancements to the anti-cheat tools will first be made in the PC version before cross-platform matches between console and PC users return.
