Amazon is entering a new market: soundbars. Its Fire TV Soundbar still remains shrouded in mystery, but its price remains attractive.
Would you like to buy a Fire TV device again? After the Fire TV Stick 4K and 4K Max HDMI keys, Amazon took advantage of its event to unveil a whole new range of products in its catalog: a soundbar.
A soundbar thought for Amazon
The Amazon Fire TV Soundbar, as its name suggests, is a soundbar compatible with “all Fire TV streaming products and televisions.” Its connectivity is not detailed, but we imagine that it should also offer connections allowing it to be used with other devices.
Daniel Rausch, the head of Amazon’s Alexa and Fire TV division, did not detail the audio part of the soundbar, which is pretty petty for an audio product. You should therefore certainly not expect exceptional quality, but more an easy-to-use soundbar.
It must be said that its price is not very high: 119.99 euros. However, it is only available in the United States and Canada for the moment, and for pre-order in Mexico. No announcement has been made yet regarding a possible European release.
