Devsisters announces “CookieRun: The Darkest Night,” a release from studio FreshDoh! developed virtual reality game from the “CookieRun” franchise. A trailer provides a first impression of the world of the new “CookieRun” adventure, the first chapter of which will be available in the Meta Quest Store this year.
“CookieRun: The Darkest Night”, formerly known as “Project Q”, is the latest addition to the “CookieRun” series. The game seamlessly combines action, adventure and role-playing elements to create an exciting adventure in virtual reality. As the first VR release within the “CookieRun” universe, it marks a significant milestone in the development of the IP. It also demonstrates Devsisters’ commitment to exploring new genres and platforms.
In “CookieRun: The Darkest Night” you embark on an epic journey as Brave Cookie, the main character of “CookieRun”. The goal is to free his fellow cookies from the witch’s castle. “The Darkest Night” tells the story of a group of cookies who bravely face the dangers and challenges of the castle to escape before the witch returns. You have to explore different areas such as the kitchen or the laboratory from the perspective of a 15 centimeter tall cookie, fight gigantic enemies and solve a variety of puzzles and mini-games.
The trailer for “CookieRun: The Darkest Night” provides a first glimpse into the backstory of Brave Cookie, the encounters with other cookies and the threatening enemies in the castle, which contains many dark and mysterious rooms.
Chapter 1 of “CookieRun: The Darkest Night” will be released via the Meta Quest Store later this year, followed by Chapters 2 and 3 in 2024.
