Creative Director NetherRealm and creator Mortal Kombat Ed Boon promised to fix the version of Mortal Kombat 1 for Nintendo Switch.
Previously, players and the media criticized the edition of the fighting game on a portable console, which suffers from problems with technical and visual parts. Many were outraged by the $70 price tag, especially given such shortcomings.
Boone noted that the authors will not ignore user complaints – the creators have already compiled a thematic list with problems that they need to fix.
In the future, an update for the fighting game will be released on Switch, which they plan to support in the style of Mortal Kombat 11.
Boone admitted that ideally the developers would like to release a version of the game on Switch that would satisfy them completely. But he did not specify why such a problematic publication appeared on the console.
The release date for the update has not yet been announced. The fighting game itself, by the way, took third place in terms of peak online in Steam among games of the genre.
