What The Toxic Avenger is about, the reboot of the popular horror comedy
Under the script and direction of Macon Blair (I don’t feel at home in this world anymore), the plot of The Toxic Avenger follows the story of Winston Gooze, a melancholic gym janitor who is diagnosed with a terminal illness.
In order to pay for the treatment that could save his life, Winston tries to rob his boss, but during the robbery attempt he suffers an accident and falls into a drum of radioactive waste and becomes a monstrous, deformed being with superpowers.
Under the identity of The Toxic Avenger, Winston decides to use these powers to do good and free the city from evil, becoming a superhero.
