Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will not be postponed. “We are Gold”, thus begins Venom, or rather his interpreter, confirming – after a euphoric introduction by Nadji Jeter (Miles Morales) – that the new superhero action game from Insomniac Games has officially entered the Gold phase. The team published a video message from the various cast members and addressed to their fans. In the video the main voice actors of the work appearlike the one already mentioned Nadji Jeter, Yuri Lowenthal (Peter Parker), Laura Bailey (Mary Jane Watson) e, appunto, Tony Todd (Venom).
The entry of a game into the Gold phase means that the latter, except in very rare cases, will not undergo any postponement and is ready for distribution. The release date is therefore confirmed as October 20, 2023, exclusively on PlayStation 5. “We are thrilled to share this important milestone with our studio and our collaborators at PlayStation and Marvel Games, and with our incredible community around the globe,” reads the message from Insomniac Games in the video.
Following the video published during the State of Play, some news about the game emerged, including the explanation of basic mechanicsthe presence of Ray Tracing in all modesthe notable one importance that Venom had in the development of the game and last but not least, the length of the main story.
