After the defeat from Transcarpathian “Khust” (0:2), Ternopil “Niva” announced the termination of cooperation with the team’s head coach – Vasily Malyk.
Note that Malyk took over the team in June 2023, before the start of the current First League season. Under his leadership, the team played 10 matches, winning 4, drawing once and losing 5 more matches.
In the First League standings (Group A), Niva is in fourth place with ten points after 8 rounds played.
The coach has already said goodbye to the team and fans: “I would like to thank all the fans for their support, for constructive criticism, the players for their conscientious work, and the management for the new life experience. I wish Niva to prosper, new victories, and for all of us – one big victory,” said Malyk.
