Square Enix announced a board game based on Final Fantasy XIV – Final Fantasy 14 Tabletop RPGwhich is scheduled for release in May 2024.
The new product will offer a look at the familiar MMORPG universe from new angles, taking on the role of another hero from the local world.
“Tabletop” supports from three to five players (five are still recommended), and the duration of the gaming session can be about two hours.
The game set includes character pages, a map, dice, and more. At the same time, a rule book is included here, which describes the conditions for creating a hero.
Buyers will also receive a guide for the game master, which contains several invented scenarios. At the same time, the information in the guide will help you create your own stories.
The cost of the new product will be $60, and the authors have already launched pre-orders for the starter kit. By the way, next year FF14 itself will be released on Xboxand in the summer of 2024 the game will receive a new addition Dawntrial.
The developers, by the way, do not plan to transfer the MMORPG to a shareware model.
