Back in June of this year, Byking studio announced that a battle royale game called My Hero Ultra Rumble would be released in the fall. Now the exact date has become known. The release will take place on September 28, 2023 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch (the project will be backwards compatible on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S).
Additionally, three new playable characters have been confirmed. Eijiro Kirishima, Momo Yaoyorozu and Ibara Shiozaki will join those heroes and villains who were available in the past closed tests.
My Hero Ultra Rumble is a new game based on the popular anime series “My Hero Academia” (Boku no Hero Academia) and the manga of the same name, written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. Matches feature 24 players who fight to the last man standing on an ever-shrinking map. Players can choose from several characters with their own abilities. Characters can be upgraded during a match by finding special cards.
