So far, players like everything: the add-on has good reviews.
On PC and consoles, Separate Ways, a story add-on to the Resident Evil 4 remake, was released. The main character of the add-on is Ada Wong, an agent of Albert Wesker, hunting for Amber and intersecting with Leon Kennedy, the hero of the main game.
The release of the add-on caused a surge of interest among players. In the first hours after the release of Separate Ways, online traffic in the Steam version of the Resident Evil 4 remake grew 5 times compared to normal values, almost reaching 27 thousand people.
However, so far only a small part of the people who entered the game on the day of release are playing the Resident Evil 4 remake. Peak online in the Resident Evil 4 remake exceeded 168 thousand people.
Based on the results of the first hours, most of the owners of Separate Ways are satisfied with the addon. The add-on has very positive reviews on Steam: the add-on received 398 reviews, 92% of them were positive.
Judging by the reviews, the add-on has at least one technical problem: Separate Ways freezes on the Steam Deck portable console during one of the cutscenes. The developers have not yet spoken out on this matter; on PC, apparently, everything is fine.
There are no other story additions planned for the Resident Evil 4 remake.
