Alongside the new Redmi Note 13, Xiaomi also unveiled a new pair of wireless headphones for those looking for a good solution at an interesting price. At stake are the brand new Redmi Buds 5.
This new pair of headphones arrives with a renewed design, now even more ergonomic and several features at the level of the best solutions on the market. The best of all is its price, which starts at the equivalent of 25 €.

Regarding its design, we have a different approach from those that preceded it, now with rods. According to the Chinese brand, this approach brings greater ergonomics to its headphones, allowing for long periods of use without discomfort.
Its carrying and charging case has also been renewed, now with a more rectangular appearance. The Xiaomi Redmi Buds 5 will be available in three different colors, namely black, light blue and white.
Regarding sound reproduction, the Redmi Buds 5 arrive with an independent acoustic chamber. In addition, they have a 12.4 mm titanium-coated diaphragm and 10 mm drivers.
46 dB noise cancellation puts us on par with some top solutions
As already mentioned, the main attraction of the Redmi Buds 5 – besides the price – is its noise cancellation technology. The brand claims that these can cancel out 46 dB of noise, which puts them on par with some more premium proposals with much higher prices.
These wireless headphones offer three levels of noise cancellation to better adapt to different situations. Its transparency mode also has three levels of customization to accommodate different requirements.
For those who make calls with their wireless earphones, the Redmi Buds 5 feature ambient noise cancellation powered by their dual microphones and AI. Your connection is made using the Bluetooth 5.3 protocol.
Redmi Buds 5 arrive with a total autonomy of 40 hours
An important aspect of all wireless headphones is their autonomy. And in this field, the Redmi Buds 5 do not disappoint with the promise of up to 40 hours of playback.
These values are possible with the help of the energy stored in its carrying and charging case. Each earphone, with active ANC technology, promises up to 8 hours of production. The brand also says that 5 minutes of charging will be enough for another 2 hours of playback.
For now, the Xiaomi Redmi Buds 5 will only be available for purchase in China. We await information about its global availability.
